Interacting with the List of Dates

The List of Dates (LOD) output is structured for immediate use in court filings, and its format aligns with common High Court requirements. This section helps you understand how to read, navigate, and refine the output.

In-Line Citations

Each event includes a hyperlinked source reference, letting you click and view the original source from which the information was derived. This makes verification seamless and avoids manual cross-checking with multiple documents.

When you click on any in-line citation, the source document opens on the left pane, and the exact portion of the source document pertaining to the in-line citation is highlighted in yellow.

Chat with LOD

Jurisphere turns your LOD into an interactive conversation: you ask questions, and it finds, filters, and explains entries instantly. Instead of scrolling through long chronologies, just ask what you’re looking for.

You can click on 'Ask Questions' in the top left of the List of Dates and type in your query.

Examples include:

  • “When did the arbitration proceeds conclude?”

  • “List all hearings mentioning or referring to ‘injunction’.”

  • “Identify all events that deal with the fund transfer from party A to party B”

This chat layer doesn’t modify your LOD it helps you understand, navigate, and explore it conversationally.

Filters and Navigation Tools

To help you quickly locate relevant events within a large LOD, we provide three powerful navigation tools:

chevron-rightDate Format and Range Filterhashtag

Select a custom date format to suit your requirements, and range (month and year) to narrow the LOD view. For instance, to isolate events from the past year or a particular phase of the dispute.

chevron-rightDynamic Category Filtershashtag

Use this to show or hide categories based on subject matter.

Each event in your LOD is auto-tagged with a category such as “Filing and Submission”, “Judgements and Orders”, “Compliance Deadline”, or “Correspondence” to help with thematic grouping and filtering.

You can select multiple categories (like “Orders”, “Affidavits”, “Hearings”) to focus on a particular aspect of the matter. To filter out entries:

  1. Click on the button at the top of your LOD.

  2. In the drop down, choose 'Clear all' to untick all categories.

  3. Click on the required categories to tick them and view in the LOD automatically.

You can edit the dynamic categories as well - toggle on 'Show in table' in the Filter drop-down, and click on the Edit button next to the category under whichever date you want to reassign. You can type in your own categories as well to update the particular event tag.

🧭 Tips for effective queries

  • Very large LODs may take a few seconds to display on screen.

  • Filtered results appear in chat as well as the exported version.

  • New chat clears conversation history, not the LOD itself.
