Upload Failed While Processing File

In rare cases, after submitting a file for processing, you may receive a notification that the processing has failed. You may see a red error icon next to the notification, with messages such as:

Process uploaded file: [filename].pdf (with a red ❗ icon, indicating failure)

This means the file could not be processed by our system.

💡 Why This Happens:

This error can be triggered due to a variety of reasons:

  • Temporary server overload: During peak usage, our backend services might briefly drop a few upload tasks.

  • File corruption: The file may be partially damaged or unreadable by the system.

  • Unusual file encoding: PDFs exported from certain tools (e.g. scanners or older Office versions) may not follow standard encoding formats.

  • Upload timeout: If your internet connection is unstable or slow, the upload might not complete properly.

  • Special characters in filename: Rarely, certain symbols in the file name (like #, %, or non-English characters) can cause failures.

What to Do:

  1. Retry the upload once.

  2. If the error appears again, contact us immediately:

    • Via the support group on your onboarding channel

    • Or through the in-app support bot

We’ll resolve the issue promptly and help process your file manually if needed.
